I took this a couple of years ago and was sad to see it had been torn down early this year when I went back to where it was. This old house was creepy and had a lot of character. I loved it!
I was born in 1973 in Salt Lake City, Utah and I have had a passion for photography since I was 16 years old. In 2008 I got my first high end camera and that is when I really started to learn the technical side of photography. I am a self taught photographer and have learned mostly by trial and error. My main passion is shooting landscape photography and architecture photography. Have a specific need? I am available for commissioned work. what a sad story... this lovely architecture is very unique... the house looks like it was in pretty fair condition... probably a great candidate for complete restoration... just think, this photo may be all that remains... you have salvaged a piece of the past! vf
Brett Engle replied:
Thank you Gregory. I've since wondered if maybe it was relocated because it was gone without a trace of it ever being their. I think if it would have been torn down that there would be some scraps around that were missed. Who knows, if so I just wish I knew where it was moved too.
