Artist's Description
The evening before this scene was full of boaters, fishermen, hikers, and others just hanging out. This was taken at about 5am and there was nobody to be seen. Too early for the fish to start jumping and it was so quiet that it seemed like I could hear any sounds from miles away but there was nothing to be heard. Even before sunrise the colors were bouncing from east to west and everywhere between. This was the most beautiful pre-sunrise I have ever seen and was the most peaceful feeling I've felt in years. I may have had a glimpse of heaven as I captured this moment and am happy to share this with the world.

I was born in 1973 in Salt Lake City, Utah and I have had a passion for photography since I was 16 years old. In 2008 I got my first high end camera and that is when I really started to learn the technical side of photography. I am a self taught photographer and have learned mostly by trial and error.
